Finhay is licensed to operate by the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology on July 15 (2020), and granted a trading membership certificate (Code. 065) by Mercantile Exchange of Vietnam (MXV) on July 24 (2023).

Starting with a vision for innovation and a desire to transform the financial approach of Vietnamese people, young CEO Nghiêm Xuân Huy—one of the 100 outstanding individuals honored by the Vietnamese Government through the 2018 Innovation Network—recognized the limitations faced by small-capital individuals in accumulating and investing. This concern drove him to establish Finhay in 2017, with a mission to provide an accessible financial platform, empowering Vietnamese people to confidently start investing simply, engagingly, and effectively.

Since then, Finhay has emerged as a pioneering enterprise in the digital finance sector, delivering modern financial solutions in Vietnam and Japan. 2024

September: Finhay was honored at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2024 for its capability in applying AI in financial services.

2023

November: Finhay won the Most Innovative AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) Investment Platform award at the IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2023.

May: Launched the Finhay Savings and Investment Platform, combining Finhay’s technology with financial products from Finhay Securities Company.

2022

November: Acquired and officially became the owner of Vina Securities Company; received investment from Openspace Ventures (OSV), VI Group, and several other organizations.

2021

November: Surpassed 2 million users, making Finhay the most popular mobile application for personal investment and savings in Vietnam.

2020

April: Received investment from the co-founder of Acorns and Thiên Việt Securities Joint Stock Company (TVS).

2019

November: Finhay was listed as one of two Vietnamese fintechs in the Fintech 100 by KPMG, a global audit and consulting organization.

January: Secured investment from Insignia Ventures Partners and several other venture capital funds in Southeast Asia.

2018

August: Founder Nghiêm Xuân Huy was honored as one of 100 Vietnamese individuals from abroad recognized and invited to contribute through the Vietnam Innovation Network program, initiated by the Government.

January: Secured funding from domestic angel investors and the H2 Australia venture capital fund.

2017

November: Received the 2017 Promising Fintech Award at Techfest, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

March: Company established.
